The 2 Week Diet

I want the fastest way to get a flat stomach. The problem is, I don’t like to work-out and do intense exercises. Sure, I have relied on flat belly diet smoothies, but it isn’t just enough. I want to make my belly flat and fast, without starving myself and in such a way that I would enjoy every step of it. That’s when my friend introduced me to belly dancing. She had been taking belly dancing lessons all summer and she said that it is the fastest way to get a flat stomach. At first, I was a bit hesitant, but since I love dancing (and I also saw the results of my friend’s belly dancing), I went with her and enrolled in a belly dancing class.

I was amazed when I saw the instructor! She’s already around 60 years old but she looks much younger than her actual age. I envy her because though she already has three kids and five grandchildren; her belly is flat, compared to mine (with so much ab flabs even if I’m still single).

She said that her secret is that she’s been belly dancing for 30 years and it sure helped her to trim and shape her body. She said that it’s also the quickest way to get a flat stomach and the most enjoyable too.

According to her, belly dancing is the most ideal and natural method to shape and tone down a woman’s body. It is natural, since the movements used in belly dancing actually enhances a woman’s femininity. It is originally a dance of fertility, with movements having strong links to womanhood. It is not just the fastest way to get a flat stomach, but is also the safest. This is because the movements’ work with and not against the body since they come naturally to the female form.

flat stomachBelly dancing is the fastest way to get a flat stomach because the focus is in the abdominal muscles. If other abdominal workouts can be very uncomfortable and strenuous, in belly dancing, the steps are fluid and graceful. We may think that we are just jiggling and rotating our belly and hips, but while doing this, we are giving our abdomen a total workout. The movements include lots of controlling the muscles in the abdomen (like rolling the belly) that enhances our internal processes like digestion. No wonder why it is the fastest way to get a flat stomach. Though the center of belly dancing is the abdomen, the entire body also receives a full work-out like the back, neck, arms and thighs. So aside from giving a sexy tummy, belly dancing also helps improves our posture, provides for buttock exercises, and helps to get rid of arm flab.

After my first session, I can already feel the tightening of my abdominal muscles. The one-hour session has made me sweat a lot. According to our instructor, a session can make us lose about 300 to 350 calories, making belly dancing not just the fastest way to get a flat stomach, but also the fastest way to losing weight. The belly dance movements on the hips, buns and thighs are actually easy to learn and easy to master.

After two weeks of belly dancing, I have seen a lot of difference; my waistline is 2 inches less and I have achieved that without starving myself and without doing painful crunches and intense workouts. I have also felt more confident and more aware of my femininity and sensuality. Seeing the results for myself made me very happy and contented. Indeed it is the fastest way to get a flat stomach and it really worked for me, plus I get a lot of fun in doing it.

Regular exercise is surely the key to a healthy and fit body, but it is not always easy to find one that is truly enjoyable. Belly dancing is not only fun, but it is also an enjoyable way to keep my body fit and develop my femininity. I will continue my belly dancing lessons for sure and just dance all the way to a flat belly!
