You often hear about fenugreek, apple cider vinegar, and other home remedies for dandruff. Perhaps you would even reply, “Been there, done that.” These may seem like very effective ways to get rid of dandruff, but in your case, these three are ineffective in combating your dandruff. Are you looking for some more ways to get rid of dandruff fast?

Neem Leaves

Neem is an Indian tree that looks like a pine. It has been used in India to combat dandruff for centuries. It has anti-fungal and anti-itching properties. It also has the ability to stop the growth of dandruff. Those are the reasons why the neem tree is part of the group that can provide you with answers on how to get rid of dandruff fast.

In order to get rid of dandruff, all you need to have is a handful of neem leaves and a liter of hot water. You soak the neem leaves in hot water overnight. Use the water from which the neem leaves were soaked the next day to rinse your hair.

Another effective method to get rid of dandruff is by pounding the neem leaves until it becomes a paste. You need to apply the paste onto your head. Let it stay there for at least an hour. Then, rinse your head of the paste with clean water. get rid of dandruff

Lemons

Lemons are also effective in removing dandruff. If your dandruff is caused by a fungus, lemons are known to be the answer to getting rid of dandruff fast and in the most natural way. Lemons are acidic. Because of the acidity of this fruit, it can break down and eliminate the bacteria. Lemons have a refreshing scent, so using them can also make your hair smell lemony!

If you are going to use lemons to reduce dandruff, you need at least one teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice as well as two tablespoons of the same fruit. You also need a cup of water. The efficiency of lemons in getting rid of dandruff fast is high. All you need to do is massage the 2 tablespoon of lemon onto the hair and scalp. Since it is very acidic, you should only soak your scalp for a minute. Next, you need to combine the other quantity of lemon with water. You should use this as a rinse for your hair. This process of removing dandruff with lemons should be done as long as there is dandruff present on the scalp.

Use Listerine

If you think Listerine is only used to gargle, think again. This is also very effective in getting rid of dandruff. It has antiseptic properties that can get rid of dandruff caused by fungus. You just need to dilute one part Listerine with two parts water. Spray this solution into your hair after you have shampooed. Massage and let it stay on the scalp for half an hour.

These may be outrageous and crazy methods, but these three are effective in reducing the presence of dandruff.
