5 simple weight loss tips from Gina Neely
Gina Neely’s transformation to a size 0 is simply amazing! A Southern girl who likes her meals rich and buttery, she had her own cooking show together with her husband – Down Home with the Neelys on the Food Network. But due to health concerns, Gina participated in George Foreman’s Weight Loss Challenge, and 12 weeks later, she incredibly lost 20 pounds! For all the ladies out there who were inspired by Gina’s weight loss success, here are some tips from her so you too can lead a healthier and better lifestyle.

1. Embrace change

According to Gina, the first thing you need to do is learn to accept change. If you’re not willing to change anything – your daily routine, your diet, your attitude, etc., then you will not be able to move forward. It all starts with yourself and your ability to accept the fact that there are changes you need to make in order to achieve your goals.Realize that change is good, not only so you can lose weight, but more so because it will make you a better person.

2. Vow for a healthy diet

Practice eating a healthy and balanced meal. It’s not just enough to lessen the amount of food you eat. What’s more important is to include the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and protein into your daily diet. Remove the unnecessary food that only includes junk, saturated fats, sugars, breads, and pasta. However, this does not mean that you have to eat the same kinds of food over and over again. Eating a healthy, balanced diet will also enable you to enhance your creativity when it comes to cooking meals. Learn to cook food in different ways and manners by using a variety of spices and cooking techniques. One example is by grilling instead of frying and by using various herbs and spices to enhance the taste of your meals. weight loss

3. Add exercise to your daily regimen

Work out regularly and consistently. Eating right is definitely going to help you get healthier, but if you really want to lessen weight and remove those stubborn body fats, you should also include exercise in your everyday routine. This will help your muscles become more firm and intact. At the same time, you will be able to shed your excess fat faster by sweating it out through exercise.Gina also suggests doing simple activities that you can incorporate in your daily routines like doing some lunges while waiting for the laundry or doing some sit-ups while watching TV.

4. Moderation is key

For Gina, moderation is key to losing weight and keeping it off. You should practice portion control every time you eat your meals. Also, be conscious of your snacking habits. Always keep a stash of your favorite heathy snacks, and if you must go out, bring some of these with you so you won’t be tempted to eat fast food fries or burgers. Limit your chocolate intake, and as Gina says, one Hershey’s Kiss is enough.

5. Never give up

Another important lesson Gina imparts is not letting yourself give up. Losing weight takes a lot longer time than gaining weight. If at first you don’t see any positive changes, be patient with yourself, and you have to remember that it may take some time before you may see any significant result. A big part of success is seeing things through until the very end.Remember to always finish what you have started. It does not matter how long it takes for you to achieve your weight loss goal; what’s more important is your commitment and your promise to yourself that you’ll get there no matter what.

Gina Neely is truly an inspiration for all ladies out there who wish to become healthier. If you want to lose over 20 pounds just as she did, remember to follow these suggestions. Also, keep in mind that what’s most important is learning how to take
